Think this not as a morbid piece
But just a something to do list
There are things that I ought to do
To fulfill the life I loved and knew.
I am a free spirited being
But I used to box myself in
Yet I yearn for all the complexities
Such as this:

I want to kiss under the rain
Under the pouring rain where
Raindrops fall in vain
And that’ll be only ours to share.

I wish to do a road trip with you
just us two…
take photographs of the amazing wonders
and of each other…
 
I may ask you not to drive too fast
Coz if ever we may see a wide acre of grass
I would want to unfold a blanket and lie
With you and kiss under the sky.

I wish to make a bed of red roses
Where you and I will water each morning
Tend our garden with our daily kisses
Keep them warm with love and awning.

I also wish to fall asleep on the beach
under the brightest of full moon
Where you and I will start to swoon
As we fall asleep on the sand
Kiss me on the lips and hold my hand.
I hope that someday you and i
Will tell the world of our beautiful love story
Give them hope that true love will never die
But stays many lifetimes of eternity.

These are the many things that need to transpire
For they fuel my fire
Other than this, there’s also something else
Among my many wishes…
I wish to bring you buckets of happiness.
I want you to be free and find your own
True self that you have left alone
I want to wait for that day to come
So I would be able to share with you
All that I want done.

I know life is short and we may never see
Another tomorrow of you and me
Whatever pain I have inside now
I let it be and never wish to part somehow.
I also need to be able to feel
Everything that I know is real
I will not numb my heart from the pain
For I cannot feel the moment
When we kiss under the rain.
Most of all, I pray with all my might…
That soon, you will learn to fight
And be courageous enough to take a stand
Because my heart is in your hand.
I would love it so much if you take a break
And think of me and how much I ache
To spend as many moments we can have together
Even if we know that we will always have forever.
I want all the world to see…
How a love like ours can survive the deepest sea
I want them to know how much I love you
With a love that even I never knew.
And if ever you may read this,
You might say I sound so selfish
But I know that there isn’t a day I wished
You would see that we were given a second chance
To have what we couldn’t have once.
But for as long as I live, I would correct past mistakes
To be able for us to heal all our aches
I’ll be here for you, when you’re ready to take a stand
And to fight for your heart, to fight for me…
I will be there… ready to take your hand.

Let it be soon, for we have to make up
All the lost moments that could’ve transpired
But for some reasons, we had to let time stop
To be able to relieve it all… before the moments expire.
